Our new 2 year old Alpine Sugar has one problem. She is forcing me to check and repair all my sagging fences. She steps on the sheep fencing and jumps right between it and the barbed wire above it. I have four other adult goats and none of them have figured this out. They have 20+acres and of course they all want to get in the fenced area around our house. This is the salad bar, DJ's garden, fruit trees, pine trees and the weeds on this side of the fence taste better than the same weeds on their sided of the fence.   :hair: :slapfloor: Suellen
of course! I remember seeing a pic of hollowbead ranch ( i think) who had a new 3 or 5 acre pasture...and the goat head was sticking out of the fence.
is Sugar related to my Demi and her side-kick Fionn? (or is it Fionn and his side-kick Demi...?) That's EXACTLY what they do!!! I have put in 1 new fence so far and am considering using bull-wire to hold the sheep wire up to the barbed wire between the fence posts - it might work? worth a try, right? LW
