Processed grain by-products.

Is this bad? We feed ADM and is first ingredient is this. Is it bad for them? Ok for them? We are also thinking about switching over to Purina Goat Chow, which the second ingredient is grain by products. Is this supposed to be bad for them? Should I continue on the ADM?

Need your thoughts!

Thanks!

I know, but the first ingredient is grain by products. Is this bad for them? That's my main question. I'll keep them on ADM if it's fine.
C'mon guys! I need some help here. Does the by- products hurt them? Or is it fine?

Please help. Need your thoughts
It is in all bagged feed so I am going to say no.
I think I'll just start making our own grain mix. That's what I was gonna do anyway. I won't take the risk of what might be in grain byproducts
personally, I don't like seeing "by products"....never know what that actually means....

I mix my own, and lots of folks here mix their own. you just need to make sure the mix you're making has enough nutrition. do a search around the threads and you should be able to find something.

I did a search for processed grain by products and, as far as I can tell, it will not hurt them. Processed grain by products are the result of producing ethanol(corn), distilling, manufacturing food for human consumption (flour, corn meal, etc.), and what is left over during the milling process(wheat middlings, rye middlings, soy bean oil, etc.).
I think I'm bust going to stay away from processed feeds. It will all be my own. I just would hate not knowing what's in the feed. Wouldn't know what I might be making them eat.

Thanks for your replies!
