I have been wondering about this for some time and I figured I'd ask here. I can very easily tell if a dog is too fat or too thin, but in the world of dairy goats I am struggling. With dogs I like to be able to easily feel ribs and hip bones without having to prod through a layer of fat, but not be able to see them through the coat.

Is there some sort of guide that shows a goat that is too thin, one in ideal condition, and one that is too fat?
