We don't really have access to any feed/chow specific to goats where I am.
I do have hay cubes, alfalfa pellets, beet pulp pellets, BOSS and oats/grain. If I wanted to forgo the usual hay feed during the winter would a mixture of these be enough nutrition for our pygmies?
(they also get loose minerals/salt)

They really need the long stems of the hay. The pellets don't replace hay. Hay is more important than the grain. Even the hay cubes won't replace hay. If you want to supplement with the grains, that is fine.

Hay is the most important food to a goat, if anything the grain should go, not the hay. It keeps their rumens going and healthy.
