That would be a tapeworm. For my guys I give safeguard three days in a row.

triple his weight and then give the safeguard 3 days in a row.

If you want to be totaly sure you can get a fecal run again - but chances are thats what he has. the stress from moving him to his new home caused the worms.

I would get fresh fecal and take it to the vet before you do it again. They are are gone, then no need to do it again and waste the $$.

I know that when my cats and dogs have tapeworms they get the runny and crusty eyes.

Ivermectin alone is not effective against tapeworms. My experience- praziquantal is the most effective out there. You can use a horse wormer called Zimecterin Gold. It's in a tube, and is a combo. of ivermectin + praziquantal. Dose babies with a dab on your finger or so- depends on size of baby- I usually will pull some out with a 1 cc syringe and pop it in their mouths.
Valbazen is a liquid "white" wormer for sheep/goats that is effective for tapes (do not give to pregnant does); however, I have far better results with praziquantal. For resistant tapes, you can dose 3 times, 10 days apart (3 times in 30 days.)
