We kidded late this year. There are 4 4H girls that want a kid. They want them at the end of this month. The babies will only be one month old. Can they take them and put them on a bottle or would that be a problem? I've read here about mixing kid replacer with cows milk. Is that an option and if so how often a day would they have to give them a bottle and how much.

    Thank you all.

start trying them now on a bottle. Dont wait till they are a month old. If they dotn take it the first time try again another day. Use goats milk while you get them use to the bottle. Once they take the bottle real good (not garentees they will) then you can start mixing formula or cows milk (which ever the new owners will be using) slowly till they are use to it.
