It could probably be used if nothing else was available, but the calcium to phosphorus ratio is off, it does not provide enough copper, and the salt is a bit high.

I agree...in a pinch its "ok" but a better choice would be right now onyx minerals by cargill....I believe TSC carries it?? might check around

I've used it with no problem. ;) I like the high magnesium to lower the chance of bloat. For me, no mineral has proven to have enough copper, so I still have to bolus.

I don't have a extra bag bit if you look in that area at ts there is goat minerals. Its a small bag and I get the one with the picture of a goat on it. I have tried both the goat minerals and still my goats won't touch either lol bit the one with the picture has higher copper ;)
