    Hello all!

I'm in a bit of a pickle. We have a doe in milk and two kids and our feed store has run out of the normal feed we give them and won't have any in for 5 days. No one else sells that brand locally and I know it's bad to switch brands or types of feed on them quickly.

They get timothy/alfalfa mix and our doe gets alfalfa pellets with her feed during milking. Will they be OK for a few days without grain or do I need to find a replacement and slowly add it to their diets?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'd just do the alfalfa pellets.

She should be fine without grain for a couple days. Maybe in the meantime just up her share of alfalfa pellets?

    Don't change anything.
Just wait for the grain or I would call a nearby town and see if they have a bag of that feed.
