Raw Spots

Discussion in 'Health & Wellness' started by mommaB, Nov 4, 2010.

  1. My buck has spots on his muzzle that are getting raw from peeing on it. :? Just wondered if I should put some bagblam, or if anyone knew of something better to put on it??

    Thanks!

you could try the bag balm. Also Vaseline works as a good barrier and skin healer.

I had that exact problem with Teddy last year...this year it's Chief. What worked very well was a good wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, dried well and then I applied a thick layer of Diaper Rash cream, Desitin or the dollar store brand works extremely well.

  6. Never even thougth about diaper cream? I did think about triple antibiotic ointment though. Figured it wouldn't hurt?

    Thanks!

basically anything with soothing skin abilities and barrier qualities will work
