Becky kidded tonight at 11:30 with a HUGE buckling!

We named him Wolverine, Wolfie for short. He's sired by my Nigi boy, BBB...and he looks JUST like him minus the blue eyes (Wolfie's are brown).

Becky has freshened with a beautiful udder, better than some Nigerians (she's a Pygmy) and I can't wait to milk her. She was super easy to get colostrum out of!

    Hahahah Red Light Special indeed!

Kel - doncha remember? Scarlett isn't preggers, she was just in HEAT! bwahahaha

I knew in my heart of hearts that Becky would beat Scarlett...I made sure she was ashamed the whole time we were in the barn LOL. So far this morning, she is unaffected by the whole thing.

I'm having to milk Becky's right half because her kid is only nursing the left...I'm getting about a pound and a half just from that side!

    wow that is good.....
Have you tried teaching the baby to suck from that side as well ? after a while the kid will learn to suck from both sides.....
I know the kid is real young now and can't keep up with it ....so.. you are doing the right thing.. by milking her on that side....good eye.... ...
