I was doing some paperwork today and I realised I have a FB boer doe who we call 'Dragon', we have had her for 3 yrs and 6 weeks, and in that time she has produced 14 kids. :shocked:
WOW....She must be an awesome girl....the most I've had from any of my girls was Bootsie..13 kids in 6 years, 4 does rest bucks.
Quads and triplets. two does the rest bucks. She just dropped triplets a few days ago and unfortunately one died, last time she had quads the first was doa, the rest have survived. We join a mob of does every 3 months. Our top does will kid twice each year.
Wow!! Quite a few babies! A friend of mine's doe had quints twice in the same year. . . . I think she had her for 2-3 years and got over 15 babies (maybe closer to 20) from her. Bred her back pretty quickly though.
Well, Izzy (5yo NDG) had 7 this year (quads & trips) 5 bucks 2 does. All alive and thriving. She'll have a little break now!
