A couple weeks ago I posted about goats with bottle jaw and anemia. I have given them 4 doses of Dextran Iron injectable over the course of these past weeks and a couple of them are still very pale in the eyelids. I also notice some of the kids that I just wormed are pale. Would Red Cell be a better and faster option? If so, What is the dose?
Is 1cc. per 100 lbs. correct for the dextran iron? Because it sure has not brought about the results I was hoping for.
Thanks,

The iron injections are the faster route. Red Cell would take longer. Red Cell is 6cc per 100 lbs though. Not sure on the dosage for injectible iron.
