Excellent looking buck, will be a great herdsire. Dam is one of the two nicests udders in my herd. She is 8 years old and that udder is just beautiful! I thoroughly enjoy milking her. Handful teats with big orifices for ease of milking. She has excellent rear attachments and medial division. Brother to this buck is retained.
    $300 ~ SP JB

Yes I hate to let them go, but I just can't keep them all! Breaks my heart to have to sell. :( But I'm sure they'll do beautifully in another herd too. I get to keep daughters from them too so that's good.

lol, the trip to NJ with a screaming goat in the back is my limit! Well Angie only screamed at rest area's where she would get attention. :slapfloor: Now if Ashley would like to meet me in NJ I may think about it. I could swing by Stacey's on the way and say hi to her and Angie.

No trips planned here. Sorry I can't help. ;) I know all too well about goats talking on trips too. Some are real quiet and others are chatter boxes. I've been rather lucky though, most of mine are quiet.

Ace is now sold pending pick-up. He's staying to breed some does and then will go to his new home.

I also wanted to mention that I am open to a trade for a standard breed dairy doeling. I would like to raise it with my Nigerians and milk it when she's mature enough. Prefer Nubian or Lamancha but will consider any. Prefer purebred as well.

Oh how I wish we were closer together or at least had one of those star trek transporter things! I am totally in love with two of your does! I am near Spokane Washington, so too far away!

That's how it usually goes. :) Even when I find something I have to have.

Sarah is sale pending deposit and so are Molly and Maiden.

Gosh Ashley, I hope I have as good of luck at selling kids this spring as you are having on selling your goats :). I have 2 people who have said they want a kid out of Scrumptious-but of course no one has put a deposit on one yet. Although it is a bit early I suppose.

Thanks! We do usually have very good sales. Markets a little slow right now.

I don't take deposits on reservations. Too difficult if the goat doesn't produce what is wanted or if the person backs out later etc. So we just have a free reservation for people and when kids are born we require a deposit to hold them till weaned.

I have been half tempted to just keep Hera and Plenty. They're nice does and I feel they will look even better next freshening. But I really need the money right now. We have to purchase a hay storage carport and hay for the year so I really have to let them go.

Yeah, I definately understand the money issue. I just hope to make a couple of sales so I can put the money back into hay and grain.

Hera and Plenty are still available but will be removed from sale when/if we are ready to breed them. At this point I'm thinking September/October. If they get bred they will stay till kidding out in the spring.

    Both bucks sale pending.

We have Plenty and Hera available until they're bred. $300 each. Otherwise they'll stay till after they freshen in the spring.
