I can't seem to find this old song I use to listen to a few years ago while working, all I can remember is "...like footprints in the sand..", it was very similar to Garth Brooks' "Beaches of Cheyenne" but it's not that. All I seem to find are Christian songs, but it's not one. Has an 80s/90s country sound to it, male singer. Any help?

Are you sure it’s not beaches of Cheyenne? It does have the phrase like footprints in the sand in the song. Otherwise, I have no idea.....and thanks for the ear worm now! Lol

Definitely not Beaches of Cheyenne, but very similar.

George Benson and/or Player both have songs with footprints in the sand as part of the lyrics. Leaning towards George Benson more than Player. Both are real nice songs.
