Terrible labor that just lasted too long. He was alive before i left for the vet, but after a 20 minute drive and another 30 minutes before he was out, it was just too much.

I was numb last night but this morning i can't stop thinking what if. I know that isn't helpful, but .........................

He will always be missed. Our first baby in our herd.

awe I am so sorry  the first is always so special even when you never get to meet them.

The what ifs never go away but if you dont dwell on them tomuch you can learn from it and know what to do better the next time. Sometimes even if we do everything right its not enough. Its hard being a goat raiser :(

I am so sorry. It is always hard but when it is the first. Do not ask what if. It will drive you totally crazy. Just remember the lord had a plan for that baby LONG before you even new she was going to have him.
