Lela has not settled for 3 seasons so she stayed with the buck all winter. It's ok with me if she stays barren.
Yesterday brought her out to do feet. Poor Darlin was beside himself, though he could still see her.
In April we took him to a show for 4 days. Should have brought her a buddy but I didnt think of it. She hardly came out of the shelter all that time.
In a few weeks she is going back with main herd so I can bring in a mother/daughter team who need service.

Sounds like those 2 are strong buddies! At least you have someone to be in with your buck when not needed for breeding.

It's always something! Didnt want to bring in resident wether cause he was so much bigger.
Lela beats on everyone else & has her favorite targets. I hate loving her sometimes!
