Well I didn't think i would be able to do it but i just sold my favorite goat, the people are really knowledgable and friendly and i know she will have a good home. And she said i could have first buy back option when and if she decided to sell her.
But i know i can't keep everybody, i feel most sorry for chrome, who was callys best buddy. Poor chrome is walking the fence line yelling for her buddy.

Yes I know how that feels. I've also had goats who started out my favorite and as the herd changes so does my favorites. All we can do is try to pave the way to a great home for them and trust our decision.

it is so hard to let them go but then it breaks your heart to watch the buddy left behind. when Kristen bought three of mine one of them erin was best buddies with my doe lacy. they were togeather since they were 2 weeks old & are now going on 3. lacy still has not buddied up with any one else & she was so depressed for 3 weeks just hanging by her self & crying all day & night.

Oh i know cally will be enjoying her new home. And it sounds like i will be getting her back in two or three years. which will be nice. Chrome is doind a bit better. My biggest probelm is chrome is the seven year old "mature" girl of the group. All i have are yearlings two year olds and kids that want her to play with them. She thinks she is too old for all that.
