A buck and a doe, just like I wanted! The buck is huge and has such a gorgeous head. I'll post pictures later.

It was just such a surprise though because she wasn't due till next week. I guess I should have known something was up when she was being so affectionate the other day. I was going over to the farm with a friend and was looking for Sadie, when I spotted two little ones on the ground. There was still gunk on one so I just missed her kidding. Today was jsut one big adventure but I'm exhausted right now so I'll save the story for later.

Re: Sadie kidded!

Ok, here are some pictures I promised. These are all from a few hours after they were born.

Here is the whole family. The boy is the one laying own and the little girl is the one sneaking around the corner.

And here is one of just the doe.

The buck and his momma. Doesn't he have the sweetest face?

And one more of the girl! This one just makes me laugh.

Thanks everyone.

Normally my camera phone doesn't take the best pics either but this one happened to turn out.

And these kids are 75% Boer. Their mom is 50% Boer and 50% Nubian.
