We sold our horses and now have 9 left over round bales to feed through for the goats. We’ve got the round bale on the flat side, then I peeled off any hay that had gone bad. We then wrapped cattle panels snugly around it. I’m going to tarp it to keep rain off the top. Does this look like a safe set up for hornless goats? I can’t see any way it could crush them since we have it on the flat side and the cattle panels keep them out of it.

Yup...we did that way for years. Just need to tighten the panels as the goats eat it away.
