I’m going to post some maternity pics of the girls so I can compare… we are still 6 weeks out before due dates! And I’m dying for some little ones 😅
Here’s Peach… she had b/g twins as a FF last year. Her mom had quads as a 2F, so I’m curious to see what she’s got hiding in there. She is getting a bit wide, due date 2/8-2/10.

We’ve got Jolene also with 2 possible due dates of 2/4 or 2/10. She’s my oldest doe and will be a 5F this year. She had 1, 3, 4, and 4 last year, but one had died earlier on.

sandy will be a 2F this year. She had triplets last year as a FF. 2b/1g. She’s due feb 8/or 11.

Flippy will be a 3F this year, she had a single and then quads. She was due Feb, but came back into a strong heat so I have her marked as due 3/3.

Ok, sorry, I was trying to stick to weekly updates, but I finally got some pics of them laying down looking like beached whales 😅
And we might not have a week to wait…

Aww they are really cute! Love those preggo bellies! It's so funny how they look standing vs laying down. Our one doe due on Sunday looks like a beached well, while her sister due in 2 weeks melts into the ground lol.
I sure hope the girls don't decide to kid while you have to be away for the appt and activities. Just don't tell them you have to go anywhere, tell them you will be home, watching them closely... lol

my dad just called me this morning and needs to drop his oeterbuilt off to the mechanic a cpl hours away and will need a ride home. I told him the sooner the better! So that’s what I’ll be doing for 4 hours tomorrow.
I’m thinking Lucy will maybe be my first to go. She doesn’t have goo yet, but seems like she’s opening some and this afternoon while laying down she seemed to lean into a light contraction. But it could totally be in my head…
If she took on her first date then I have the 5th as her due date (if she goes 150 days). I also have the 9th as a possible due date.
So I’ll check her before going anywhere tomorrow and shut her in the stall if I think it’s a possibility.

No, she was totally just messing with my mind earlier 😆
I did not shut anyone in yet. Some are getting a little more hollowed out and looser in the backend, but I don’t think anyones within the next 48 hours.
I don’t want to shut anyone in too far ahead of time since it really stresses them out.
I just need to be patient ❤

Hopefully they don't make you wait too long! Although if you had a cold Fri/Sat morning like we're having, you want them to hang onto their littles! Low of 18 tonight, ugh. Thankfully the 2 babies out in the barn are content in their heating barrel and sweaters. We brought 2 in to bottle feed and they are sleeping in my daughter's room lol. I was so worried about inducing the one yesterday and her going earlier than I normally see (28-32 hours after shots on average).
it's supposed to be 47 for the high today (Sat), and low 37 and improve more the next few days. I'll take that kind of weather for sure over the high of 29 that we had yesterday (Fri).

Sunday we get rain/snow mix, but rest of the week is sunny. Highs in low 40’s, but the lows are still down to low 20’s unfortunately 😬
Really want to make sure I get them in the stalls with fresh straw before they drop babies!

My girls are laying around doing nothing 😂
They really aren’t due yet going by the 2nd date of the 5 day heat thing… but I keep checking them and hoping for something!
I do have some crooked tails and rumpy backs going on. No tell tale discharge tho. Perhaps tomorrow someone will show some signs so I can shut them for the night.
I’m trying to be patient but it’s so hard! 😅

Well it's definitely time for those WIDE LOAD signs. For some I think they need pilot cars with flashing lights.!!!!!
