I have NEVER in my life picked out a dog. From the time my parents got us scottie pups when I was 4 til now, my dogs have just come into my life -=- rescues, strays, a gift once...well, just over a year ago, we lost my daughter's dog, Annie. Annie was a stray who literally showed up in our yard one day. She was a heeler/corgi/aussie/? cross and was perfect. SHe was a big black/gray/tan merle sort of dog and she only had half a tail. Just before Xmas, a customer came into my shop. He and I had talked about someday I might do a border collie rescue, esp since the two dogs I have now are 10 and 11. Well, guess what in this customer's arms? A heeler/aussie cross with half a tail! Welcome "Sam" our new puppy!

What a cutie pie!!!! I miss puppy breath! I love the wet newspaper smell of their breath! Look at his little ham hocks, you could just take a bite right out of them!!
