I have lots of sassafras seedlings. I offered a few leaves and my gang loved them.
its on toxic lists but i read about goats eating it. So ... y'alls experiences?
is it ok? Is it a dose-dependent thing? (Its not in their usual turnout so they don't get into it by themselves).

They used sassafras to flavor Dr. Pepper and the ground up leaves are the file powder in gumbo. But I looked it up to see if it is toxic. The websites that I saw talked about the oil being toxic. I don't have any sassafras trees. I wish I did!
