Im interested in a Savanna buck to cross with Boer does. Im in VA and am a simple commercial breeder. Does anyone know if there are semi cheap commercial Savannas in or near VA. all the ones I've seen are like $800 and rather far away.

there's a guy with commercial savannas in middle TN....well i guess technically i have a couple billies but mine won't be ready till the summer. But this other guy i got my billy from and he was 50/50 Boer/Savanna. i bred that to my commercial boer doe.

There are a couple listed in Goat Rancher Mag. I know of a couple in SC in the same price range.
Be ready to pony up. Savannas are not as common as Boers and Kikos and the breeders are proud of them.
