Scanned the does with some suprising results.

    Ellie - pregnant

    Cheryl - pregnant

Lucky - pregnant - furthest along

Maddie - unsure, possibly pregnant but not certain

    New Saanen - pregnant

Its funny, Maddie looks the furthest along in udder, but that could be because she is dairy while Ellie, Cheryl and Lucky are angoras. So it looks like my buck with the enlarged testicle has actually got healthy swimmers. It will be interesting to see what the Saanen has - she had access to both a Boer buck and a Toggenberg buck. Hopefully the Toggy.

    Congrats! :D

I'm just curious but what does "scanning" mean? Is that like an ultrasound? I haven't heard the term used before in this way. Are you just scanning as in looking over the does or it is like a sonogram?

Yep, ultrasound. We use a model which is used on people and a wide range of animals. The probe goes on the goats belly just in front on the udder. Easy as 1-2-3

That is too cool! :D Wish we had one. . . . . I'm probably going to get blood drawn on Lyla and Claribelle. Mostly Lyla, she's confusing me.
