So Annie delivered two little boys on December the 9th 2020. About a week later we went to get them disbudded by a friend. Well they are about 6 1/2 weeks old now which means that it’s been 5 1/2 half weeks since we got them disbudded. As you know usually they should come out in about 2 or so weeks right? Well for each of them it seems as if only one has come out. WHATS GOING ON??

    A picture would probably help.

It looks like the black one’s horn is coming out but not the gray one

    This looks like a scur:

I can’t tell on the black goat. Do you feel any horn-like tissue coming up?

If the scur wiggles and is < 1” you can usually pop it off with some pliers. If it doesn’t wiggle then it will need to be redone.

So I checked to see if the gray ones little nub would move... it didn’t. So does he have a scur? If so that what can I do about it.
