Similar to the thread around the older doe triggering a doeling's first heat--
Does anyone know if it matters if the does are mixed breed (have the similar situation as in that thread, yearling doe in milk and a almost 6month old doeling (BD 4/16/13) with each other, these 2 are Oberhasli's and then I have 2 almost 5month old (BD 5/20/13) 3/4 Nigerian doelings in the same pen....
I would think the yearling (freshened in June with twins) would be coming into heat soon cause she is a seasonal breeder....Right?
Will she trigger all 3 of the other doeling's first heat and does it matter that 2 are year around breeders?
