My buck was having some trouble the other day with standing on uneven ground. If he took an off step, or was standing a little bit downhill, his knuckles would buckle over. I checked everywhere for signs of heat or injury, and aside from his usual protest, there was nothing amiss, so I trimmed his feet up a bit to try and help out, but with the 3 inches of snow we got last night, it's not done much help. My question is-should I go ahead and get the vitamin E/Selenium gel from Jeffers, or try to find BoSe, or get the pelleted mineral supplement and feed it to him that way? I'm not even 100% sure selenium's his issue, but it was the first thing that came to mind.
