I have two Angora goats and a cashgora who I will have fibers from soon. I heard from someone that they heard of a way to separate fibers without carding. She said it was air blowing the fiber around and resulted in a fluffy cloud of fibers. I don't have a carding machine yet so I was curious if this might be a good option for me. Does anyone know of how to use this technique? Thank you!

You can use hand carders. They are not horribly expensive. I have also seen people usin hair brushes.
