To Shady Creek Goats: what kind of goat is featured on your postings? It looks like it has curls on its head - does it? Is there a particular breed of goat that gets those curls on their head?
I know my mini silky bucks (and some does) start out with curly bangs... they usually get long and straighten as they get older though. I think the curly cues are soooo adoreable! Especially on top of their tiny little bodies! LOL Jess Faint-Hearted Ranch www.faintheartedranch.net
He's adorable too - even without curls. I'd love to have a silky fainter some day. I'm asking because someone on a yahoogroup, posted her alpine buck with curls - thought that was unusual and also kind of special.
Yep, not sure why because I never get motivated (or the time) to teach any tricks, but I love reading what other people do with their goats.
The picture is my Saanen buckling....HE WAS ADORABLE!!! When I clipped him, I just left those curls (the curls were very small at the time) and they grew fast...lol.. when they start to get long so the curls start straightening, I just trimmed it a little...here are better/ closer up pic of the curls.... and this was too cute to resist... Please let me know if you have any other questions!!
