I live in southern Iowa. We are looking at temps in 50’s-60’s during the day and 30’s-40’s at night. I have a few goats (one major problem child every year) with skin issues. The only way it seems to clear up is when we shave them. I’m not talking bald, but a good trim. Is it too cold to do this now? Last year we did it mid to late April, so we are only a couple to few weeks earlier. Opinions please and thank you!

I'd wait. I live in SW WI and with our crazy weather I wouldn't shave my goats until I was sure nice weather was around to stay, personally around May/June.
