Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been on much.
We had a show last weekend....it went pretty well. It was a long drive...about 3 hours.
Okay we finally got left at 3:00 p.m. Friday for the 3-ring buck show. Bucks had to be in place by 5:30...well we didn't get there until 6:00. I really wanted to show my bucks and I asked the Lord if the show could be running late, a late judge, or something to hold them off until we got there. Well...they were running late! YAY Thank You Lord!
Judges were Judy Quagliana(Ring 2), Ann J. Weikel(Ring 1), and Molly Saal(Ring 3).
Here are the results:
*B Hoanbu KFE Easy Money was 1st in his class in all 3 rings and took Reserve in Ring 3.
Quarter Mile Rebel Pride was 2nd in Ring 2 even with rolling on the ground and the handler not being able to get the 65-70lb. buck to stand up(that poor, poor handler...erm would have been me  ). We scratched him from the other two rings for his bad behavior...
The next day was showmanship and the 2-ring doe show.
In Int. Showmanship I was 3rd in a class of 16....which is pretty good for not practicing at all....not with the goat or anything really.
This is usually my warm up show and then I get to practicing.
Quarter Mile Faylin's Flicka was 4th(last) in Ring 2 and was 2nd in Ring 1...she was also my showmanship doe.
Spring-Blossoms WPMist Liberty was in the middle of the pack in both Ring 1 and 2's HUGE 2 year old classes.
Dover Farms CS Fantasia was 4th in Ring 2 and 3rd in Ring 1.
Seigneur Farms CS Brooklyn was 4th(higher end of middle) in both rings.
Hoanbu REV Possible Perfection was last in both rings(same class as Brooklyn). We got the same comments from the judges....they didn't say this but it is pretty much what they meant. Right now she looks like a sausage...she's long and tall with no body capacity to go with it.
Seigneur Farms Remember Me was 3rd(last) in both rings. Again both judges said the same thing about her...it is good to hear the same from each judge...lets you know what buck you should look for to improve your doe.
Quarter Mile Just Fooled You was last in Ring 2 and 2nd to last in Ring 1(both were also HUGE classes). Fool just needs some time to mature....right now she is also a sausage.
