Hello, I am new to this so please bear with me. I have a billy I have had about 6 weeks I was told he is a little over a year old, they were all a little thin when I got them but have all fattened up now. This morning when I went out to feed/water he was just standing around acting a little lethargic when i put down food he normally runs over and gets to eating but showed no interest this morning, his saliva looked a little yellowish. I feed them a mix of Noble Goat/Purina Sweet feed and change their water several time a day does anyone have any thoughts?
Sick Goat maybe?

I would get his temp...101.5-103.5 is a normal range. If he has a fever antibiotics will be needed....Tylan 200 is a good OTC choice
Offer Electrolytes to encourage him to drink...here is a home made recipe
Homemade Electrolytes
A half gallon of hot water
2-6 Tablespoons of Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses or what you have or honey
1-2 Tablespoons of Either Sea Salt, Epsom Salt, Baking Soda or Table Salt.
1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

I use a cheap digital thermometer..but any will do...you take it rectal...add a bit of vaseline helps... you might need to tie him if he fights you..
