With the weather so odd her- hot, cold, dry, very wet, our goats are stinking (even the girls). I rake their yard area daily and clean the house daily. But water and mashed down poo- well eventually smells. Do others use PDZ on the yard or lime? Anything else to limit that- barnyard -oh -so -lovely- smell?

I don't mind goat poo smell, but I do rake every few days. Lime is good if you get them out of their area and wet the lime good then use a grass rake.

You could try bicarbonate of soda too. I was surprised how much difference it made when I sprinkled the old stuff around to put fresh in the dish.
