Our wether that we was planning on butchering next weekend has a snot nose. UGGG... I've tried looking into withdrawal times for what I have and really nothing looks good. I have Baytril 100 and LA 200. It started yesterday. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

May be a cold.
Is he eating drinking acting normal otherwise?

Get a temp in case, if high, he will need antibiotics. Withdrawal time is way more than 1 week on any antibiotic.

If it is a cold, you will have to watch him.

With a cold, it is like you and me, we have to ride it out. But watch for pneumonia.

Get is temp. If he has a fever you need to give antibiotics.

If not, garlic, high doses, 2-3 cloves daily, vitamin c, VetRX in the nostrils, fresh sprigs of thyme...etc.

All I know is I wouldn’t want to eat an animal that was butchered while sick and I wouldn’t want to eat an animal that was just given antibiotics.

Either way, I think you may have to change your butcher date.

where do you get the vitamin C for goats? Another goat has snot nose too now. No fever, eating and drinking fine.
