In 30 minutes my new Togg will be here. Just had to share my excitement with someone. I'll post pics ASAP :leap: :leap: :leap: She's here! WOO WOO!!! :stars: OK heres the scoop.. They say she is bred and due to kid end of April..what do you think? Told she's 6 years old and always drops quads. She needs a name...any suggestions?
oh she is to sweet.that face you could just cuddle it forever. also love your pen for her, looks so comfy
Beautiful! When I saw her, I was thinking of chocolate eclairs. So, maybe Eclair? Not sure I spelled it right though. LOL
Thanks so much!!! Does she pass the pooch test? I know shes a big girl, but to me anything next to my pygmy looks big. LOL They just ran her with the Billy in November but have no clue when she would of bred. My daughter came in the Barn and just started calling her Millie. Hahaha, I dont know though
What are some names you like, or what are the names of your other goats? I like Millie actually, in the end you'll know what feels right. I don't usually give answers on pooch tests, because I'm still learning myself, but I'm going to say yes. Since she was with the buck in Nov., if she was bred Nov. 15th, she would be due April 14th. If she was bred Nov. 30th she would be due April 29th. I used the gestation calculator from Biology of the Goat site. I think using the middle of the month and end of the month gives a general idea of kidding dates.
Thank you. I will keep you posted. Oh and her name is Bella....my daughter named her because we had to break it to her that her horse will not be coming home, its going to stay in boarding at our Uncles. So she was fine with that as long as she could name the animals this year. LOL
I dont see an udder forming and for a doe who usually has quads I like to see more udder by now and the pooch is hard to say. But go with it and see how she progresses.
Stacey dont tell me that!! :sigh:  I will be fuming mad if I got taken for a ride on this deal.
im sorry -- but I have been known to be wrong Did you buy her as a bred doe? or jsut a possibility she is bred? because if you paid for a bred doe and you get one who is open then they should refund you the money you paid extra. Thats what a good breeder will do. Or they will breed her agian for you. As to her udder I mean she does have time to start filling I just dont see even a tiny one - but it could be the pictures.
