After so much debate about wether or not I was going to be able to test my goats this year.....and wether or not I would be able to draw blood myself, I decided that we had the funds to go for it. I chickened out and had the vet do the blood draws, which the cost was not bad at all  I got the results today. The inhabitants of Dolly's Acre are negative for CAE and CL :stars: I was not expecting them to be anything but clean, it is best to be cautious though, I am so happy!!!!!! :leap:   :stars: :leap:   :stars: :leap:   :stars: :leap:   :stars: :leap:
The wierd thing is that you guys are the ONLY ones that know to share my joy!!! My co-workers look at me like I have 3 eyes when I grin from ear to hear with stuff like this! Now, Binky BETTER give me 2 girls next March so I can at least make a "goat profit" for the year!
great and congrats!! yeah, my friends probably get tired of me talking about goats and genetics, health issues and such LOL!
I am very pleased...and Thank you all for sharing my excitement! I honestly didn't think I would have a problem....after all, my oldest doe is 9 years old, you would think that if there was an issue it would have shown up by now
Congrats- its always such a great feeling to get those results back- even if you did think you were in the clear, there's always a teeny part of you that stresses out waiting for the results! :GAAH:
Congradulations that is wonderful news. Yea people look at me funny when I talk about testing my goats to. I have to keep explaining to them over and over why im doing it. But its great getting those awesome results back. Horray for you and all your goats. :stars:
