yesterday at feeding time I happened to notice one of my does (7 years old) has bumps, sores and hair loss on her hind legs - I remember many years ago 1 of my pet wethers had this on his back legs but I don't remember how I treated it or what it is for that matter

any ideas or suggestions how to treat this would be appreciated

    Are they waxy feeling?
We get chorioptic mange here, treated topically with the blue cattle pour on once every 21 days until clear. Be sure to get behind dew claws,
It starts at heels & travels up the legs.

thanks - I couldn't really say they feel "waxy" but they feel very rough and she doesn't enjoy me touching them lol
I have 30+ goats and I checked them all today and none of the others have anything at all on their legs so I guess it isn't contagious?

should I clean her legs up with anything?

is the ivomec given just the once, or what is frequency

    thanks again

edited to add - looked it up online and it sounds right on - thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction

ivomec is 3 times a week apart...hair needs to be grown back..if not you may need to go another round...
