I'm sorry, I just couldn't wait anymore to start one :greengrin: Here's my little Spicy Goat, shes a pygmy cross and my first goat ever. After buying her as "bred" and then the dissapointment of no kids, I bought a buck just for her and I'm finally going to have little babies from my favorite doe. She was in with Romeo from 4/20 to 4/26 so I have a 145 day due date of September 12th. I'm extremely excited, but I don't know what to expect from her since I've never seen her kid before. Her udder is just starting to change its shape, no milk or filling, just the milk factory getting ready to work again. She is also rubbing her booty like crazy! Here she is as of this morning (7/28) How many you gals think now?

Thanks for the lovely compliments, Spicy is a very unique girl and by far my favorite goat. I don't know what she's had in the past and I'm not sure how old she is. Would've been helpful information, but the people my boyfriend got her from shouldn't be allowed to own goats. She was in dreadful condition when I got her. All better now, but I don't know much about her past. :GAAH: I don't think I can wait over a month to see the kids!!

Re: Spicy Goat's Kidding Thread -- *UPDATED* Day 101 Well, Spicy goat is rubbing on everything on the farm!! She scratches everywhere! I even watched her roll a few times in the gravel and then had herserlf a dirt bath as well. She's still huge and is starting to insist on coming into the house for some cookies before heading back out. She's a goofy goat!! She also is very touchy about any of the other animals getting near her, she'll butt anything within reach including chickens, geese, guineas, cats and especially the dogs. They have all learned to stay well away from her now!! With all the ginger snaps she's eating, I'm going to have to name one of her kids Ginger :ROFL:

She mostly lays around in the shade and only gets up to eat and go potty. She's also added Nilla wafers to her pregnancy cravings. I think she'd eat a WHOLE BOX if i'd let her. :greengrin: I just can't wait to see those kids!! When should I start locking her up at night?

well, i'll get a picture of her when i get home (@ school now) but she is just GARGANTUAN!! My poor little Spicy goat, she looks like she swallowed an inflatable beach ball. I'm hoping for little bundles of gorgeousness in a couple weeks. I'm going to lock her up on friday with the baby girls (4 and 7 months). She's going to be livid, she's been wild and free for the past 3 months. Her udder gets a bit bigger everyday, but is far from being tight and ready. Can't believe I've made it this far in the waiting game, i'm so ready for the :hair: :hair:
