My sun conures had babies. They are now 3 weeks old and are getting their feathers. I think at least two of them will be red factor.

I had a conure years ago. They’re pretty parrots. I hope they thrive for you.

Conures are great little parrots 😁 These guys are just getting their feathers in. The parents are still friendly to me which I’m very happy about.

I like the parrots that are a little bit bigger than a budgie. My cats don’t mess with them. When I had budgies it was a problem 😅

Lol when we first got ours he wasn’t sure about us so I wore a hoodie up and gloves to handle him and now he is great

Was he hand fed? Mine were hand fed so they just want to be with you all the time. 😂 I’m going to hand feed these guys soon too. I just think I should wait until that last one gets some more feathers.

I also have 2 Indian ringnecks that I just got a few weeks ago. I’m going to breed them when they are a little older.

How cute- I love watching babies grow up! They’re in a funny stage without feathers on their heads right now, but will be beautiful soon enough 💕

I am not sure but going to guess they were not, that would have been nice!

I hope you'll keep posting photos as they grow! Pretty birds always tempt me as pets and I have no idea why.

I can’t wait! What food are you using on your adult birds? Rn I’m using Higgins Budgies pellets but she really prefers Lafber Budgie pellets but they are super hard to find / order

I use three different kinds of pellets. I use tops, Harrison’s and rowdybush. I buy volkmans hookbill seed mix too. They seem to mainly be eating the seed mix to feed the babies. So I’ve just been giving them a lot of it 😅
