sunflower plant

    Hi I was wondering if anyone knew if the plant itself is safe for goats. Mine love the seeds and I was given some huge sunflower heads with about 2 feet of stalk and was thinking about just letting them have the whole head to nibble on. What do you all think???

    They are on the edible side of the fiascofarm.com list, so I'm assuming the whole plant is edible.
