Help! He's cute enough to want to save him. Previous doe owners let their buck breed a doe who aborted her twins yesterday afternoon, one stillborn and one trying to live.
This buckling is now about 30 hours old and we have been giving him all we have, which is warm sheep milk an ounce at a time every couple hours. He peed often until several hours ago and passed all his black poops and had gone onto yellow poops, had gained enough strength to stand and wobbily walk, seemed to be doing great.
Just less than an hour ago he was sleeping and then suddenly started to cry and seems paralyzed. Keeping him warm, rushing to the store in the middle of the night to get baking soda and try that. What could be wrong with him?? Please lend your suggestions and experiences!

Get whole cows milk while you are at the store. Sheep milk is way too fatty. Do you have vitamin B with high Thiamin?

I only have a pail of powder "oral nutrients" that has a little bit of everything, says it has 1 mg. B12 and 150 mg. thiamine, along with all the other things.

How premature is he? Do you have CD antitoxin if he didn't get colostrum?

Crap, he needs injectables. Though maybe better than nothing. How much powder makes 150mg thiamin?
