Hi. I am new to goats. My girl got tangled in an electric fence (turned off thank goodness) and it could have been 30 minutes before i discovered her. The wire cut deep into the leg just above her knee cutting off circulation, her leg was really swollen from knee to hoof. It is a week later and although it has gone down it is still swollen. i started giving her aspirin a couple days ago and think this helped. She is still limping and staying off it and is not her usual self in her temperament. Is there anything else i could give her? Anyone else had this problem? How long before it comes right? Thanks a lot everyone. Here's a picture

Is it infected? Does it stink, can you squeeze any puss out of it? Is it healed?

Is her leg warm or cold? If it cut off the circulation for too long, the leg may be dying, if it is cold.
A vet may have to amputate it, if that is the case.

Banmine is best to give for swelling and pain. It is RX drug though.

I would honestly take the goat to the vet and have it examined.
