I know a lot about teat spurs, but how do you know if your goat is starting to get one? I check mine on a regular basis but I'm not quite sure what to look for.
    Thanks

Would that be like a superficial teat? A non-functional second one on or very close to the main normal teat.

I would think that if a goat would get one they'd have been born with it and it would feel and look like a small bump on the teat itself.

Could it be a bug bite? I know that when mine get bit badly with flies ...ticks are the worst, they leave a bump.
