Does a goat's teeth ever wear out? As much roughage, brush and weeds, etc., they eat, looks like it would eventually affect their teeth.... I know they don't have any front top teeth and I guess their jaw teeth must be a chewing factory..... I have heard that a DEER's teeth rotate every so often.. Like some new jaw teeth will come on and slide the old teeth forward which will eventually fall out up front; so deer keeps on forever chewing with good teeth.. How about goats, though? Aren't deer and goats 1st cousins??... Sam

Goats teeth are pretty hardy....there will be wear and tear as they get older but usually a set of teeth will last them a life time if nothing tramatic happens ..
