After the massive storms last night and abundent tornado threats, I just wanted to see if everyone is ok!

Everyone is fine here, a little shaken up, but ok and no damage. We were placed under a tornado warning with 2 tornados spawning about 15 miles away so we had 4 grown people, 5 dogs and 2 sick boar doelings in a tiny bathroom. From the point of view of a Californian for 16 years, I would rather take the earthquakes!!!!

Please let us know if everyone is alright!

THANKS!

WOW CJ, I am glad to hear that you are all fine.

That is the only thing I HATE about this time of year. :grouphug: Hang in there.

I didn't even hear about this- I'm glad you are OK.
Tornados are scarey - since you have so many warnings in tornado prone areas, it can give a lot of anxiety even if nothing happens. And there aren't too many things that you can do to ensure saftey except take cover.

I remember once when I was very small and my family was driving through Nebraska -it was a very very flat place- fields as far as you could see with few houses. - I could see a tornado in the distance- we passed a man standing outside of his red barn as a herd of horses were running towards the barn flat out from a far field. The light was so strange as it is many times during tornados and I still remember the white lead horse running flat out with the rest trailing against the dusklike green grass and the hugh clouds piled up. That horse almost glowed white in all that gloom.

I have lived in Earthquake counrty (California and Japan) and tornado country (Michigan.) Although when a big earthquake happens, there is much more universial destruction possible, I prefer that over constant tornados playing Russian roulette with me.
