Buck has rubbed hair off where he can scratch.
Is it correct that Ivermectin when injected takes care of external lice?

And what about the cattle pour on can I do a little of that as a topical?

I always use the Seven dust and just poor it down their backs.

If possible get really close and see if there is any moving around. I have several does and two bucks that lose their hair almose every spring and we have no ide at all why, they have not had the lice or mites either.

There are 2 kinds of lice... biting and sucking....one is taken care of ...by... sprays pour ons or powders...the other... you have to inject the goat with Ivomec.....

    Yes... Ivomec ...kills sucking Lice

Well, I can never tell cause when I part the hair there's always bits & pieces of something moving around I dont care who it is...like just the motion of poking through causes movement.
But he does have two large bald patches that are way past horn base. And at times will kick his belley.
    Have no Sevin

Your welcome......I believe it is... 2 weeks follow up.... but don't quote me on it.... if you don't get an answer here... try your vet....
I would also use any topical you have on the goats....in case ...it is the other kind of lice to.....so you can nip it in the bud....

Scroll to #5 to the right of the page ...describes the 2 ...
