Just looking for some thoughts on this yearling First Freshener! She is dry in the set up pic, but I’ve included fore and rear udder shots from when she was ten hours full. She kidded with a single doeling in July. Personally the main thing that sticks out to me is teat placement and rear attachment could be a little better. Thanks!

Personally her teat placement could be a bit better as you mentioned but nothing that can’t be fixed by breeding her to a nice buck with dams good teat placement other than that she would’ve been a star doe in the barn when we had dairy’s but I’m also waiting for my Nubian this year to get bred can’t wait to see her placement it’s so exciting when they FF

She's a really nice doe, how much milk does she give per day?

We weren’t tested this year but she milked probably a gallon a day. We will be in test this year and she ultrasounded with triplets, so I’m excited to see how she produces!

She’s a really nice doe. Yes rear udder could be better, but not much-she has good area of attachment. As long as they are easy to milk teat placement isn’t a big issue with me.

I'm no goat conformation expert by any means, but I think she looks great.

    Great brisket extension
    Love her rump angle
Top line looks good to me
    Great rear leg angulation
    Nice strong pasterns
    Nice length

I think she could use a little more depth. And I don't know anything about udders yet.

Overall I think she looks terrific. If she was mine I'd very happy.
