You add the entire packet of Prohibit to a measured amount of water. Then you dose each goat out of that solution according to weight.

You don't have to measure out the powder. The factory already did that.

But I would not immediately jump to such a strong wormer as Prohibit if I were you.
No I wouldn't, I was just curious.

@pwesthuis While we acknowledge our need for vets, they aren't regarded as gods here. This is a community that has had to learn to work around vet ignorance through much experience and learning the science ourselves and passing it along. You'll find deep knowledge here about the medical needs of goats.
thanks I hope it helps my sicker goat praying so

You probably have a vet like the vet I use in absolute emergencies. He will NOT look into anything. If in his mind, his book or whatever it is he goes off of thinks it's approved for goats then he says it's not and won't give it out or says not to use it. I needed him for lute once and he wouldn't give it to me or let me bring the goats in to give to them.
Does anyone know how many days you give toltrazuril to your goats?? My bottle has enough for 1 horse

If your goat has cocci, it will take care of the problem. It targets all stages of the cocci life cycle. If your problem is internal worms, it will do nothing against them. Prohibit will kill internal worms, but not cocci. I use a cocktail with ivermectin, Safeguard and prohibit, given all at once AFTER running a fecal to see what worms I need to target, though the species infesting my goats has remain pretty standard throughout the years.

Mix the Toltrazuril 10g packet in 200mL water. I put mine in a glass screw top jar and shake it up. Be very careful opening the packet, the powder is very fine and adheres to everything it touches. It also doesn't dissolve well. It's a hassle to work with. Dose as normal, 1mL per 5 pounds.
