I think Hope has twisted or sprained her ankle. :(

I was outside, and they were all jumping around and having a grand time. I went to put them in the pen and get ready to milk, and noticed that all of a sudden Hope was limping. I am certain she was not limping ten minutes prior. I gave her leg a quick check, then milked Rudy (who insists on going first) and then had Hope get onto the stand.

Her ankle is a little bit swollen, only way you can even tell is if you touch the unhurt ankle and then the hurt, only then can you feel the difference. I checked her entire leg, the only part that is tender is the ankle. She can put weight on it and its not a real bad limp, but still . . .

Can goats sprain or twist their ankles? Is there anything I can do for her?

They can sprain ankles, I've had mine do that while playing, I just watched them closely and they seemed to be better with walking in a day or so. Now if it seems painful to her and the swelling increases I would wrap it just enough to compress it.
