Good day all. I am new to this platform. The goats in my herd have a tylosin resistant cough. I have also used bio genta tylosin all to no avail. I need your advise guys.

Tuber peel? As in potatoes peeling? If so I would not feed these to your goats. Potatoes pills can be toxic to most animals.

Dry cough can be allergies, dust in hay or dusty feed. May also be the potatoe peels.

Getting temps is important to know if more is going on.

A fecal to include lung worm would be a good idea as well. Meadowmistlabs does a good job on fecals for only $5 a sample

I give my goats yam and sweet potatoes peel. They eat it very well. I think you are talking about Irish potatoes.
Moreover I live in Lagos state, Nigeria.
I need answers that can be used in Nigeria. Thanks.

Awe yes..sweet potato are safe..

I would still recommend a fecal to check lung worm, but dry cough is usually environmental, meaning dusty hay feed or some allergent.
Might start with an antihistamine once daily for a week a d see if there are any change. Make sure sweet potatoes peels are cleaned off before feeding.
